Practicing Music Meditation
1. Sit in a quiet place, close your eyes, and take a few breaths.
2. Play a soothing piece of music of your choice.
3. Try to become totally absorbed in the musical piece.
4. Do your best to stay in the present.
5. When thoughts appear, let them pass by like clouds in the sky, and gently bring your mind back to the music, as though you enjoy it with every fiber of your being.
This meditation method will bring you peace of mind and is also a good method of training your mind to be one-pointed.
